Rules of my Classroom
1. Be Safe
All students are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that is promoting physical and emotional safety at all times. There is NO EXCEPTION to this rule. My primary job is to keep them safe and I take safety in my classroom very seriously. If a student is found to be in violation of this rule immediate parent contact and possible referral is the consequence.
2. Be Respectful
All students will respect one another, school property, and all adults while in my classroom.
3. Be Prepared
I have the students for a very limited time every week and it is vital that they come to class prepared and ready to learn to be successful in my class.
4. Follow Directions
Again I have the students for a limited time and it is their responsibility to follow directions quickly so we can proceed with lessons.
Rewards
Students will be given tickets in class for good behavior. They can trade in those tickets for prizes: pencils/erasers, candy, and homework passes.
Consequences
If a student continually breaks a rule during class time a series of consequences will occur.
- Verbal Warning
- Seat Change
- Ask to leave the room & detention
